Community Voice and Justice Programme

Greatway Foundation is working to strengthen the voice and leadership of migrant and ethnically minoritised communities across Scotland. Through our Community Voice and Justice Programme, we support individuals with lived experience of migration, racial inequality, and economic disadvantage to engage with institutions, contribute to policy dialogue, and influence the systems that shape their lives.

The programme brings together community leaders, universities, civil society organisations, and policymakers to generate evidence, strengthen civic participation, and improve institutional responses to inequality. By building community leadership and creating spaces for collaboration, the initiative aims to ensure that the experiences and knowledge of marginalised communities inform policy, practice, and long-term systems change.

Our work combines community engagement, research partnerships, and policy dialogue to ensure that lived experience is recognised as a valuable source of knowledge in shaping fairer systems. By supporting community-led advocacy and strengthening partnerships across sectors, we aim to contribute to a more inclusive society where all communities can participate in decisions that affect their lives.
